Mechanical Engineer Design (Valves & Inline Item)

Urgent Requirement
1. Must have knowledge of Valves (Manual & Actuated) and Inline Items in Refinery, Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Petrochemical industries.
2. Able to review the Contract documents and specifications to understand the requirement of Valves (Manual & Actuated) and Inline items related activities.
3. Must have Experience in Detail Engineering & Procurement of Manual Valves like Gate, Globe, Check, Ball, Plug, Needle, Butterfly valves etc.
4. Must have Experience in Detail Engineering & Procurement of Actuated Valves like Control Valves, Self actuated Control Valve, Motor Operated valves (MOV), On/Off valves and Emergency Shutdown valves (ESDV). etc.
5. Must have Experience in Detail Engineering & Procurement of special Items like Pressure/Thermal Safety valves (PSV/TSV), Corrosion monitoring fittings, Injection Quills, Blow down valves, Tank Breather Valves, Monorail Hoists etc.
6. Must have Experience in Detail Engineering & Procurement of Inline items like Stem traps, Strainers, Flame Arresters etc.
7. Must have Experience in preparing/reviewing Material Requisition (MR)/ Purchase Specification (PS) of Valves & Inline items based on Contract requirement and International Codes & Standards.
8. Must have Experience in preparing Request for Quotation (RFQ) for floating.
9. Must have Experience in reviewing Vendor/Manufacturer Technical Offers/Bids, able to raise Technical Queries (TQ’s) and Conduct technical meeting to resolve/close all Outstanding points.
10. Must have Experience in preparing Technical bid evaluation report for client review & approve.
11. Must have Experience in reviewing Vendor/Manufacturer Datasheet, documents, specification etc., and submit the same for Client review & approval.
12. Must have Experience in Material Selection (CS/SS/DSS/SDSS/CU-NI etc.,) and knowledge in Alternate Material selection.
13. Well conversant in the design codes and standards like API, ISO, ASME, Shell DEP Standards, KOC Standards, KNPC Standards etc. related to Valves and Inline items.
14. Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) membership is preferable or must be graduated from NBA accredited College.
